OUR SURROUNDINGS
We’re located on a wooded lot featuring several acres of lush trees. Right across the street is an open field where couples like to be photographed in front of the picturesque sunset. We’ve been told that our scenic setting is more reminiscent of Colorado than of Texas.
The natural beauty around us makes a photogenic backdrop for bridal and couple photos. After you’ve explored the wooded acres and the field, head over to the harbor at Lake Ray Hubbard and snap some beautiful waterside pictures. There is no lack of photo opportunities inside and outside at Hidden Creek.
AN IDEAL SETTING
Our gorgeous outdoor ceremony site is lit up all the time and surrounded by twinkle lights. It’s often one of the deciding factors when couples choose us to host their wedding, and it is a favorite of many of our past brides. The environment feels very intimate and secluded, but it’s large enough to comfortably seat 300 guests. Our beautiful wooden wedding arch can be dressed up with greenery, draped fabric, and floral arrangements.
Just a few steps away is the indoor barn-style ballroom. The style is modern, elegant, and rustic rolled into one and can be decorated to suit any taste and match any color scheme. One advantage of the ceremony and reception areas being so close together is that guests don’t have to worry about shuttling around between events. It’s especially convenient for guests in wheelchairs. We are handicap-accessible at both indoor and outdoor spots.
HOTELS IN THE AREA
Your guests will have their choice of lodging within a 10-minute drive of our venue. We recommend the Hilton and Springhill Suites. Both hotels are located on the lakefront and they offer room blocks for guests. Just tell them you’re with Hidden Creek when you make your reservation!
Other lakefront hotels include the Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, Comfort Suites, and Hampton Inn. Many more hotels are located inland, with prices to suit any budget.

GETTING HERE
We are located at 215 Chris Cuny Pkwy, Heath, TX 75032, just east of Lake Ray Hubbard. We are about equidistant from Rockwall to the north and Forney to the south. If you’re coming from Dallas, you can easily reach us via I-30 or US Highway 80.
Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services come to us all the time. If you tell the driver you’re heading to Hidden Creek, they will most likely know the way without having to look up directions. Many of our couples use rideshare services for themselves and their guests.
